Our client is looking to bring a mid-senior level Java Developer to their team! This position can be done fully remotely. Primary Responsibilities Write code according to architecture and design specifications. Write required unit tests to monitor proper health code review Write database scripts when required. Support software development goals as follows Follow engineering best practices and policies (coding standards, documentation, etc.) as directed Ensure standards for unit test coverage and software coding rules are met for all implemented software. Participate in defining, optimizing and adhering to all engineering procedures, inclusive of code reviews, etc. Participate in design activities, work definition (story creationstory point estimation), backlog grooming, risk management, progress updates within tracking systems and daily status meetings. Work to resolve issues and finish assignments on time in complex applicationsenvironments. Provide management support as follows Ensure proper solution definition is in place prior to initiating coding. Inclusive of comprehensive analysis, architecture, design and planning. Ensure software development meets project and department defined standard of quality Provide support for production and non-production environments Update status progress of individual efforts in tracking systems Key Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or other industry-related curriculum 5+ yearsrsquo as software engineer developing end-user applications for a SaaS-based solution in an AgileTrademark environment. 3+ yearsrsquo as software engineer developing back-end applications services 3+ yearsrsquo developing JavaTrademark based applications 1+ yearsrsquo experience developing solutions involving transformation from legacy platforms Approachable, open and consultative, able to listen and encourage other ideas Willingness to collaborate with others Self-driven, determined and enthusiastic problem solver Able to work independently andor being part of a team Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills Ability to understand and work within highly dynamic environments Experience in the following Languages Java, PLSQL, JavaScript, ANSI SQL.
