We’re looking for a strong Oracle PLSQL Developer Data Engineer Previous experience working in the financial industry (preferably Investment Management Firms or large Financial technology department) is strongly preferred Required Skills 8+ years of experience of data engineering related projects Data Modeling Data Management experience, and in complex and global business and technology environments Strong hands on experience with Oracle PLSQL Analytical queries Python and other scripting languages Experience of visualization tools such as QlikView, PowerBI, Tableau or MicroStrategy Financial Services domain expertise highly preferred. Knowledge of Fixed Income and Portfolio Management is an added plus Experience using tools such as JIRA and ALM RoleResponsibilities Implement effective databasedata virtualization solutions Minor database development tasks will be routine Examine and identify database structural necessities by evaluating client operations, applications, and programming. Assess database implementation procedures to ensure they comply with internal and external regulations. Oversee the migration of data from legacy systems to new solutions. Monitor the system performance by performing regular tests, troubleshooting and integrating new features. Recommend solutions to improve new and existing database systems. Educate staff members through training and individual support. Offer support by responding to system problems in a timely manner.
