BrightQuest Treatment Centers is seeking a licensed Therapist to join our exceptional clinical team in Nashville, TN.
The primary goal of this position is to provide superior clinical treatment to our clients including diagnostic assessment, treatment planning, and therap y. As a member of our multidisciplinary treatment team, your unique perspective, collaboration, and delivery of our various treatment modalities will help provide clients at BrightQuest Nashville with the most well-rounded, innovative, and best care possible.
We treat men and women suffering from complex psychiatric disorders including schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, major depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and co-occurring disorders. We carefully assess our clients to determine the most appropriate level of care and are able to adjust the services and support needed as they progress through treatment. With a typical length of stay exceeding 12 months, our clients have the opportunity to learn and practice the relationship and life skills needed to take charge of their lives and reach their highest possible level of independence by being an integral member of a supportive therapeutic community. Minimum Qualifications :
- Must be Licensed in TN: PhD, PsyD, LMFT, LCSW, or LPC-MHSP
- Experience with acute/severe mental illness preferred
- Addiction and mental health experience preferred
- 2 years of clinical experience required, residential setting preferred
- Comprehensive treatment planning skills required
- Experience working with families, providing family therapy (Bowen)
- Case management and discharge planning skills
- Additional skills preferred include family therapy, CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, EMDR, and/or somatic experience therapy
- Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen
- Must have a valid driver’s license

Job Requirements:
- Carry a clinical case load which is determined by the Leadership Team.
- Complete therapeutic duties which include the provision of therapy, case management, coordination of auxiliary care, overseeing client schedules and therapeutic structures, development and management of the client’s treatment plan, and providing families with updates on how their loved one is doing in the program.
- Participate in all Clinical Meetings. Additional assignments include running therapeutic groups or covering for other clinicians who might be out of the office due to vacation, illness or an emergency.
- Execute exceptional discharge planning.
- Communicate weekly or as dictated by the Clinical Outreach team, with the referent and the client’s outside treatment provider.
- Attend weekly individual supervision as directed by licensure status or Executive Director.
- Review of email communication throughout the day, and timely phone communication with the Executive Director
- Timely and accurate clinical record documentation including progress reports and notes, admission and discharge summaries, treatment plan updates, and supporting auxiliary and support staff with requisite documentation needs (i.e. update notes to the treating psychiatrist, probation department requests, social security administration requirements, etc.)
- Assist with crisis management and assess clients for safety
- Therapists are expected to facilitate and participate in the small and large multi-family groups and participate in the Family Support Group outing
