Our highly trained experts work alongside government agencies and communities as force multipliers to prepare, respond, and recover after a natural disaster.n nThe Ops Manager for Aerial Recovery Group will report directly to our Director of Operations and CEO and assist in all aspects of strategy and execution for Aerial Recovery Group.n nResponsibilities will include but are not limited to:n n Helping to design and execute the strategy for Aerial Recovery Group’s operations around the world Contribute insights and expertise to deliverables for ARG clients, including but not limited to crisis preparation plans, consulting on recon/safety/security issues, and more Coordinating the logistics of getting Aerial Recovery Group staff and Aerial elite volunteers into disaster zones, including coordination with Alliance transport members, government disaster agencies, NGOs and more Leading volunteer outreach and oversee completion of volunteer training to identify key volunteers for emergency situations Assist in the buildout of all Aerial Recovery Group Services, including:n Mission teams and mission-critical plans/documents Overseeing technology buildouts to align with best practices in emergency and crisis response Assist Director of Operations in identifying crisis partners and vendors for ARG operations and projects Identify key business areas for Aerial Recovery Group and manage responses to RFPs and grant opportunities Work within Aerial’s broader team to ensure ARG’s online presence speaks to critical audiences including vendors, government partners, and others n What We’re Looking For:n n 5+ years in corporate/organizational security, crisis management, and/or disaster preparation roles A strong understanding of crisis preparation, mitigation, recovery, and further resiliency Experience working with external third parties included but not limited to law enforcement agencies, private security corporations, security, and disaster management vendors A strong writer and communicator with experience working with diverse groups and high-level stakeholders A self-starter who thrives in flexible, fast-moving environments International experience required; experience with Caribbean nations a plus Passionate about developing nations Experience applying for and securing government contractsn n What Aerial Can Offer You:n n A flexible and totally-remote workplace
