The Product Owner plays a pivotal role in collaborating with the stakeholders and the dev team to deliver the final product/solutions.
This is an immediate full time need for our client and candidates interested must be eligible to work on W2 status.n n Job Descriptionn Take the lead of scrum teams as the Product Owner and manage the day to day activities Collaborate with product managers and the stakeholders to create requirements Define and communicate the product vision and direction to the Agile development team Manage product backlog including iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories Work closely with Product Managers to plan and prioritize backlog based on the business values, including features, epics, stories, and use cases Ensure that the dev team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on Play an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals Collaborate with sales, marketing, and client success team to understand and anticipate future product development and enhancement needs and identify product growth opportunities Lead the planning of product release plans and set the expectation for delivery of new functionalities Support Sales and Marketing teams with product information, release plan, and doing demos for the prospective clients Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trendsn Technical Requirementsn Monitoring technical support systems for product improvement opportunities Training staff on product features Assisting staff with problem solving and troubleshooting issues Performing validation and user acceptance testing as neededn Team Responsibilitiesn Helping others to accomplish results Performing other duties as assigned Suggesting and implementing improvements to work processes to better meet project schedule and budget, reduce project risk, or improve the final product Attending and participating in applicable company-sponsored training Maintaining a strong understanding of software development trends and technology Maintaining a strong understanding of healthcare industry technology trendsn Qualificationsn n Educationn Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, life sciences, or related field required 5+ years of experience in a similar role will be considered in lieu of a degreen Experiencen 6+ years’ experience in Information Technology, preferably in the healthcare industry 3+ years of previous working experience as a Product Owner or similar role In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles Proven ability to manage an agile team Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills Excellent organizational and time management skills Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills Creative thinker with a vision Strong understanding of Requirement Analysis and Specification Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycles Excellent oral and written communication skills Competency with MS Office Working knowledge of MS Dev Ops, or Jira and documentation tools
