Indirect Procurement Manager

Indirect Procurement ManagerResponsible for partnering with and supporting internal Business Units, Functional Groups, and associated Stakeholders while executing Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, and Supplier Relationship Management initiatives.

This position will be responsible for supporting the procurement of MRO, services, capital, packaging, and other related commodities.RESPONSIBILITIESProvide Procurement support ensuring Procurement representation and participation in all issues related to assigned Indirect Procurement responsibilitiesSupport sourcing strategies and lead supplier selection and negotiation strategies, in conjunction with stakeholders and support execution to established timelinesInteract with suppliers and internal “customers” to identify, implement and realize optimal value and performanceSupport the execution and management of Procurement processes for designated Categories to reduce the total cost of ownership for goods & services while ensuring uninterrupted supplyFacilitate Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) efforts including strategic segmentation and supplier rationalizationEnsure supplier qualification efforts including diversity initiativesManage and enhance supplier performance through the establishment of KPI’s/SLA’s (contract content) and effective supplier and stakeholder interactionEDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE:Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree preferred5 years plus of Strategic Procurement and/or Business Operations experienceAbility to function from a stable state of independence, displaying the ability to manage assignments without significant oversightPreferred certifications: CPMCOMMODITY SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE:Prior designated commodity and materials’ buying experienceAdvanced commodity knowledge:MROCost driver structure and cost modelingBusiness, industry, and commodity acumenFOUNDATIONAL JOB KNOW-HOW:Strategy formulation, development, and implementation including:Supplier segmentationSpend analysis & costing modelsSWOT analysisAdvanced purchasing fundamentals:RFQ/RFP, bid analysis, supplier selection, and awardNegotiation strategy & executionSupplier & internal customer interfaceContract development, negotiations, management & administrationFinancial Analysis & Project ManagementSupplier Relationship Management (SRM) and negotiation Proficient in “Problem Solving Decision Making”SDL2017
