Neuro-Hospitalist needed at Regional Medical Center, a city owned nonprofit hospital with a 350,000-catchment area.

This is a replacement position, joining two other Neuro-Hospitalists to cover inpatient care.

Hospital is a primary stroke center, serving a strong mix of general neurology, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, stroke, brain injury and ALS patients.

There is also an opportunity to conduct sleep studies if interested.

Exceptional earning potential with extremely large referral base that covers 14 Counties.

The medical center is a 247-bed regional referral center servicing more than 350,000 residents in the region.

With over 200 physicians in 40 different medical and surgical specialties, the hospital offers patients the same kind of care they can expect in a larger metropolitan area including specialty services that include cardiology, electrophysiology, cardiac and thoracic surgery, vascular surgery, pulmonology, cancer treatment, orthopedics, physical rehabilitation and neurosurgery.

The high school is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and offers both Advance Placement and International Baccalaureate classes.

Cookeville High School serves as a comprehensive vocational education center for all Putnam County Schools.

Since 1989, Putnam County has received the Governor’s A+ Award for Excellence in Education, and ACT scores of Putnam County students are above the national average.

In addition, two state-supported vocational schools serve Putnam County.
