– Nashville, TN Position Type Full Time Education Level 4 Year Degree Travel Percentage Negligible Job Shift Day Job Category Sales Position Summary HealthStream is looking for organized self-starters to fill our Business Development Representative (BDR) roles in our efforts to generate interest, develop leads, and increase market share for HealthStream solutions in the Acute and Non-Acute Capacity Management Segment of the market.

In conjunction with sales leadership, marketing, and product management, the Business Development Representative will be responsible for generating, developing, and qualifying new leads for the sales organization through telephone, email, and product launch campaigns.

We need motivated team players to achieve a target number of qualified leads monthly and annually, set forth by sales leadership and described in the Sales Incentive Plan.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES: * Research prospective organizations to identify key stakeholders.* Manage and adhere to a regular cadence of communication with prospective accounts to achieve monthly metrics for growth.* Communicate effectively over the phone, in writing, and in person within the context of a highly professional consultative sales environment.* Document and track all prospects, leads, and activity history in a timely, complete, and consistent manner using CRM system.* Collaborate with sales team members on tactics to achieve business and growth objectives.* Develop deep understanding of HealthStream prospect profiles and personas including challenges they face, care setting understanding, and how to position HealthStream effectively.

Job Specifications A.

KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: * Minimum of 1 year sales or customer service experience preferred.* Healthcare experience preferred.* Previous Salesforce.com or other CRM experience preferred.* Cold calling and/or lead generation experience preferred.

SKILLS REQUIRED: * Team player with customer service focus and positive attitude.

C.

ABILITIES REQUIRED: * Professional with high level of integrity.* This position is primarily sedentary in a normal office environment.* Extensive computer usage and use of the phone.* Ability to travel 0-5% of the time.
