Operations Manager of our Nashville, TN location, candidate must be able to multi-task (between sales, delivery, and warehouse functions), lead a team of hourly personnel, and manage a budget while providing heroic customer service.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Foster and demonstrate the company’s core values, instilling a commitment to Heroic Service in all branch personnel
  • Responsible for branch daily operations within specific functional areas (i.e. delivery, warehouse management, order issue resolution, etc.)
  • Manpower planning, time management, safety, workflow planning, talent development and performance management
  • Utilize salaried and hourly leadership to communicate and execute tasks, while managing schedules, staff levels, and resource utilization
  • Provide input and manage area related payroll, operational expenses/budgets, and execute other administrative functions and reporting as required
  • Ensuring product is delivered and billed in a timely manner
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency and commitment to strong Sales support

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook and ability to navigate the Internet
  • 1-3 years management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field (additional industry experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
  • Sense of urgency
  • Effective communication and customer service skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time
  • Positive upbeat ‘can do’ attitude
  • SAP knowledge is strongly preferred
