Temporary Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Purpose

Support the accounts receivable and trade credit team administratively and in department processes as needed during the implementation of a new system.

Key Responsibilities

Provide administrative support to the AR manager and Analyst.

This may include running reports, pulling customer data, updating customer credit files, data entry, and preparing and sending out trade references, statements, or invoices.

Assist with the reconcilation of specific customer accounts.

Support the cash posting process as needed.

Support and maintain
– a high standard of internal and external customer service.

Perform other duties as necessary.
Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations.
Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Knowledge of accounting and reconcilation techniques

Strong math and analytical skills

Strong communication and customer service skills

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Excel knowledge and sufficient ability using simple math formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s and Index.
Proven ability to operate a computer and software packages and learn new tools quickly and effectively.
Education:
High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing a degree preferred.
Experience:
Or any combination of experience and training that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position
