Service Desk Analyst, Nashville, TN

**This is a 6 month contract-to-hire opening.
Rate: $25/hr and $50,000 and conversion

SUMMARY

The Service Desk Analyst provides Tier I and sometimes Tier II technical support for internal employees.

The responsibilities include call handling, issue identification, deskside support (at times), IT Asset Management (ITAM) and general network support for issues such as Wi-Fi connections and connectivity.

Responsibilities
Provide Service Desk support and resolve problems to the end user’s satisfaction.
Perform issue handling, identification and resolution with all levels of employees
Ensure customers maintain productivity while experiencing customer service-oriented assistance.
Provide technical assistance and support to requests received through helpdesk related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
Monitor Service Request tickets assigned to the queue and process first-in first-out based on priority.
Install, test and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment and software.
Maintain inventory of all equipment, software and software licenses.
Report issues to the System’s Group for escalation.
Manage PC setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware, images and software.
Assign users and computers to proper groups in Active Directory.
Perform timely workstation hardware and software upgrades as required.
Qualifications
Minimum 3+ years of recent experience in an IT helpdesk, desktop support, service desk support or IT administration focused position
Associates or Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
Technical Requirements:
Good knowledge of workstation/client systems and associated peripherals, operating systems, Microsoft Products, and Outlook.
Experience with Active Directory user level administration
Must have solid end-user troubleshooting skills.

Must be willing to work effectively within a team environment in a fast-paced support role.
Must possess excellent communication skills, be dependable, outgoing and positive with excellent problem
– solving skills

Pay: $20.00
– $25.00 per hour
