Lead Banquet Server
We are looking to add a fresh new addition to our Banquet team. Do you have a passion to serve others? Are you excited about meeting new people and inspiring those around you? As a Lead Banquet Server at Cambria, you will contribute to the satisfaction of providing travelers with savory and delicious dishes all while enjoying your work and developing your customer service skills.
In this part-time position, you will help lead and inspire our Banquet Team to provide our guests with exceptional events and dining services. In this role, you will also be able to showcase your efficiency and ability to work with others during events. Our banquet servers are team players that work with our operations team to provide the best professional, competent and prompt service to our guests and our client partners.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Providing exceptional guest service to all customers.
• Leading the team with motivation and direction and assures that all standards of quality are in place
• Greeting guests and being responsible for accommodating all guests’ needs at the attendance of an event.
• Participating in good communication with guests with questions regarding the menu.
• Delivering food and beverages from staging areas to guests as needed to assist the team
• Assisting other servers during peak periods in delivering food and guest requests.
• Training others on serving plated, and reception style meal services (training provided)
• Anticipating guest’s needs and monitoring the guest’s dining experience to ensure satisfaction with food and service.
• Responding promptly and courteously to any requests.
• Overseeing Setup, execution, and clean-up for an event.
• Performing side work to prepare for upcoming events.
• Assuring all service areas are kept clean and safe at all times
• Maintaining a professional and personable appearance.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
