FINANCIAL ANALYST: DETAILS
Title: FINANCIAL ANALYST
Location: Brentwood, TN
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: 50-65K + Full Benefits
Hours: Standard Business Hours | 40 hours per week | Monday-Friday | 8am-5pm CT
Remote: Training will be remote… In the fall they will be in their new office and will have hybrid schedules.
REQUIREMENTS: FINANCIAL ANALYST
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
Knowledge of corporate accounting
Strong Analytical Skills
Advanced Excel Skills, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and advanced formulas
Problem solving
Knowledge of computerized accounting systems
Knowledge of reporting systems
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Excellent oral and written communication skills with staff level and senior levels
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
RESPONSIBILITIES: FINANCIAL ANALYST
Provide Analytical support to accounting and senior management
Monitoring operational activity to make recommendations of changes in methods and procedures
Compile and summarize data to be reviewed by various users in order to analyses financial results
Extensive evaluation of revenue and expenses
Resolve any inaccuracies or missing data
Work closely with all departments to ensure analytics are stated correctly
Compare current and past results for trends and errors
Create monthly financial reports ie. P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, in excel
Consolidate Canadian Financials
Restatement process including exchange rate calculation
Yearly retained earnings calculation
Creating monthly port financial in excels and distribution in SharePoint
Ability to create various spreadsheets and reports at managers request
Provide audit and tax related spreadsheet and reports on demand
Continuous work on the various spreadsheets to keep them current include Accountants Files, P&L, Balance Sheet, Canadian financials, Vessel Payroll report, Internal Packages, Flash reports, Harbor Group Reports and cash flow reports.
