We are a busy, growing, independent small animal practice located in Nashville TN. We are a fully equipped facility, caring for our patients in a team based environment. We have 3 veterinarians on staff and provide our clients with full spectrum care for their pets.
We are seeking a new Veterinary Technician to join our team.
What You Will Do:
- Assist with a variety of procedures, including administering medications and vaccinations, drawing blood, and surgical preparation including inducing, intubating and placing IV catheters.
- Assist with appointments, interacting with clients to take histories, reviewing estimates, provide client education.
- Provide nursing care for hospitalized animals.
- Handle animals in a gentle, low stress manner.
What You Will Bring:
- High school diploma (required)
- Registered/Certified Veterinary Technician (preferred)
- TN License (preferred)
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to thrive in a team based workplace
- Able to remain calm and positive in a busy environment
- Trustworthy, reliable
