Senior Construction Project Manager

Liaison Placement and Consulting Services has recently partnered with a General Contractor looking to hire a Project Manager with at least 8 years of experience to oversee all commercial construction projects ranging from $10 to $50 million in the Nashville, TN area.

Our client has high-profile clients, unique and challenging projects, a positive work environment, a flexible work schedule, and excellent benefits. This company specializes in building and remodeling educational establishments, mixed-use and office spaces, religious institutions, tenant build-outs, and specialty projects. Their client list includes: Nashville Zoo, Lipscomb University Residential Village, Concord Road Church of Christ, Fountains at Gateway, Ramsey Solutions, and Raymond James.

Our client has been around for over 30 years and is passionate about building people, relationships, communities, and great buildings.

The Project Manager will be responsible for working alongside the Pre-Construction Estimator during the pre-construction phase of the projects. • Acting as the main point of contact with the owner and design team
  • Awarding and negotiating contracts with subcontractors
  • Reviewing submittals
  • Managing requests for information (RFIs)
  • Creating and managing the project schedule
  • Leading meetings with the owner and architect (OAC meetings)
  • Leading meetings with subcontractors and superintendent
  • Managing change orders
  • Managing the invoicing both on the accounts payable and accounts receivable side

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience as a Construction Project Manager
  • Understanding of Sage Timberline Estimating Software, On-Screen Takeoff, ProCore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project/Excel
  • LEED AP and OSHA 30 certifications are not required but would be a plus

Benefits and perks:

  • Medical/Dental/Vision insurance
  • 401k + matching
  • 15-days PTO
  • Vehicle allowance
  • Performance bonus

The hiring process will start with a 30-minute phone interview, followed by a virtual or in-person interview (if local) with the company’s Operations Manager, and then a final interview with the company’s Owner and Vice President.
