Overview:SP+ is looking for a Business Analyst to join our Product & Technology team. This person will be responsible for interacting with product managers, developers, stakeholders and various subject matter experts to support a proprietary, cloud-based inventory and pricing data management system in a SaaS environment. As a Business Analyst, you will: Work with the product manager and project team to help determine viability of project scope and vision, as well as gather user story requirements Translate conceptual requirements into written functional requirements in a clear and concise mannerVerbally and in written format, communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications to gain product management and project team sign-offBe perceptive and creative, and a reliable problem-solverDevelop a firm understanding of location parking technology capabilitiesBe independently motivated to take end-to-end ownership of your projects Have a very strong technical background with an understanding of databases and backend processes Responsibilities: Ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into solution specifications and system designs and communicate effectively with both technical and business team membersAbility to recognize problems, develop recommendations and implement solutionsDocument as-is and create to-be business processes and specifications, defining impact and outcome criteriaVerify requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standardsManage and track the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle, refining as necessaryContribute to the business case, defining the needs, costs, return on investment, and measurements of successAssist with quality assurance / testing of products and solutionsAssist with development of functional training materials and conduct end-user training, as requiredMaintain procedures manuals and system documentationWhen necessary, develop prototypes of interfaces and attributesContinuously work with stakeholders and the project team to identify opportunities to improve processes through the use of best practices and / or the implementation of technologyConduct research on software and hardware solutions to support recommendations and purchasing efforts, analyzing current and future technology trends and their relevancy to the business Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in a business analyst role with demonstrated success creating analyzing business and technical requirements, elicitation, modeling, verification, and methodology developmentExperience in a technical business analyst position with a proven track record to work under pressure and deliver Ability to express complex technical concepts effectively to people of varying disciplines and levels within the organizationExperience with SaaS applications and smart devices, as well responsive web and mobile apps in an agile/scrum development environmentFamiliarity with AWS Aurora Cloud architectural componentsProven ability to be motivate and drive cross-functional teams with attention to detail and strong negotiating skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated initiative, strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a desire to succeedExperience working with a mix of onshore and offshore teamsWell-versed in the typical functional areas of a service company (e.g., Finance, Human Resources, Billing and Collections)Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) experienceERP implementation experience a plus; Oracle E-Business Suite/Oracle FinancialsProject management competency a plus Ability to work remotely with travel to Nashville, TN, when necessaryCollege diploma or university degree in the field of business administration, finance, computer science, or information systems preferredMinimal travel required (1-2 times quarterly) SP+ is an equal opportunity employer committed in policy and practice to recruit, hire, train, and promote, in all job classifications, without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, citizenship status, marital status, sexual orientation, veteran status, disability or other classes protected by federal or state law.
