Job Description

Our client company is seeking an experienced and customer-oriented Transportation Dispatcher to join their team. They will be responsible for clearly communicating scheduled work assignments to drivers, as well as tracking each route to ensure drivers have completed assignments on time. Dispatchers will answer customer questions regarding the status of their deliveries in an accurate and timely manner.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review the assignment sheet for the day
  • Communicate work routes for each of our drivers
  • Monitor assignments to ensure they are completed on time
  • Answer phone calls and handle customer requests
  • Organize assignment files

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1-2 years of dispatch experience, specifially in FTL, Flatbed
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • The ablity to meet tight deadlines and thrive in a fast paced environment
