Job Description

The RCM Optimization Analyst is a key position in identifying our Revenue Cycle Management RCM customer improvement opportunities to further improve our customers’ overall performance and in-hand our company’s RCM financial performance. This teammate will act as a centralized gateway to RCM operations for Account Management to streamline and prioritize requests. These requests may range from Ad Hoc reporting, process improvement initiatives, strategic account reviews, and technology implementations.

Primary Responsibilities Of This Position

  • Compiles and analyzes financial information focusing on RCM revenue and performance metrics.
  • Provides analysis of financial data, including but not limited to specialty, brand, and customer reporting, proformas, revenue trend analysis, forecasts, and the monitoring of key performance and financial metrics.
  • Provides variance analysis of budget vs. actual results for RCM, highlighting significant discrepancies and material variances.
  • Supports the development and analysis of operating and financial budgets, as assigned.
  • Conducts research and analysis providing information and business intelligence to key stakeholders, as assigned.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to determine and analyze business trends and effectively communicates operational and business impacts.
  • Provides ad hoc financial analysis in conjunction with all levels of leadership, and recommendations are provided to support business development.
  • Provides pricing assessments for prospective customers and consultative reviews on pricing requests.
  • Promotes process and business improvement.
  • Ability to analyze data for anomalies, trends, and opportunities for improvement by workflow changes or technology.
  • Able to work and manipulate copious amounts of data on multiple technology platforms and provide results in a presentable format.
  • Ability to work with senior stakeholders on matters requiring interpretation. It may require communication with parties outside the organization to assist in the influence of new concepts, ideas, and practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (four-year college or technical school) or equivalent work experience.
  • Field of Study: Statistics and Operations Research, Economics, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Revenue Cycle Management
  • System experience with VisiQuate is strongly preferred.
  • Developing professional expertise and skills.
  • Requires practical knowledge of technical discipline typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
  • Resolves several routine issues by applying standard company policies and procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
