Technical Support – Level 1-2 Support

Position Title: Technical Support – Level 1-2 Support

Required Technologies/Skills:

  1. Hardware support – someone that has troubleshot issues with laptops/pcs/pos machines
  2. Windows/AD – support
  3. Any Linux OR POS Support experience would be a huge plus

Typical Day to Day:

They will be supporting the Tier 1 support side of things. They are going through a conversion of their POS systems across 30 stores and approximately 70 registers/POS’s. These folks will be picking up the slack for other higher level techs that will be dedicated to that conversion.

Years’ Experience/Degree Requirements/Certification:

1-2+ years experience

Three Questions You Might be Asked in an Interview:

  1. What is your experience providing over the phone support?
  2. Have you every troubleshot hardware issues with either PC’s, laptops, or POS machines? If so, when and what kind?
  3. Can you work any shift 7am-11pm along with one weekend day if needed?
