As a valued colleague on our team, you will provide expert advice on risk monitoring and reviews for the organization, coordinate risk mitigation activities, and provide risk mitigation assistance to other groups.

Responsibilities

The Lead Counterparty Risk Analyst – Financial Review role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities

  • Guide team in monitoring and identifying risks to a group or the organization.
  • Lead and coordinate team activities with regard to risks across groups.
  • Analyze risks and lead discussions to brainstorm solutions.
  • Lead teams and business groups on risk mitigation strategies.
  • Implement plans or decisions to avoid risks or mitigate their impact.

Qualifications

THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

Minimum Required Experiences

  • 4 years relevant experience

Desired Experiences

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent (concentration in accounting, finance, economics preferred)
  • Ability to understand and analyze audited financial statements, degreed accountant or CPA preferred
  • Ability to analyze corporate acquisition documents pertaining to mergers and asset sales, as well as name and charter changes
  • Ability to understand and navigate thru multiple different computer software applications
  • Demonstrated command of the following software: Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, & Salesforce

Skills

  • Experience in the process of analyzing data to identify trends or relationships to inform conclusions about the data
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand
  • Skilled in the graphical representation of information in the form of charts, diagrams, pictures, and dashboards with programs and tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI
  • Ability to work with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively toward a common goal
  • Experience gathering accurate information to explain concepts and answer critical questions
  • Skills related to Risk Assessment and Management including evaluating and designing controls, conducting impact assessments, identifying control gaps, remediating risk, etc.
  • Skills related to Governance and Compliance including creating policies, evaluating compliance, conducting internal investigations, developing data governance, etc.
