South College invites applications for the position of Adjunct Faculty Member for Medical Assisting at the South College Nashville Learning Site. The Adjunct Faculty Member will provide instruction for courses needed in the Medical Assisting Program on quarter by quarter appointment. Sections are available in the day, evening, nights, and on weekends.
Candidates must evidence the following:
- Applicants must have earned a minimum of a bachelor’s degree with a certification in Medical Assisting or obtain a Medical Assistant Certification upon hire date.
- Previous postsecondary teaching preferred.
- Classroom and online instructional experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Canvas Learning Management System preferred.
