Overview:
Epika is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Administrator to manage various aspects of our business operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in project management, business licensing, tax compliance, office administration, and business analytics. This hybrid role requires proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel, to support and streamline various business processes.
*This position is strictly a hybrid role with a combination of remote work and in-office, office days estimated at 2-3 days per week.*
Responsibilities:
– Business Licenses: Manage the application, renewal, and compliance of business licenses. Ensure that all licenses are current and up-to-date and adhere to local regulations.
– Tax-Related Duties: Assist with tax setup in various jurisdictions and manage the preparation and tracking of required tax documentation and filings.
– Office Administration: Oversee day-to-day tactical office operations, including scheduling, correspondence, and record-keeping. Manage office supplies and equipment to ensure smooth operations.
– Business Analytics: Analyze business data to identify trends and provide actionable insights in support of our partnering companies. Create comprehensive reports and presentations to support decision-making processes and support brands.
– Project Management: Plan, execute, and oversee projects to ensure timely completion within budget and scope. Coordinate with different departments to ensure project goals are met.
– Insurance and Legal Matters: Work closely with insurance partners and legal team to ensure timely completion of information requests and documentation as required.
Qualifications:
– Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in business administration, with proven expertise in project management, business licenses, tax-related duties, office administration, and business analytics.
– Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (e.g., data analysis, complex formulas, pivot tables).
– Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field.
– Attributes: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
