Position Summary:
The ideal candidate will hold a 4-year degree in Occupational Safety & Health (or a related field), have at least 10 years of experience in safety and health within a manufacturing environment, and possess a current Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert support and guidance for safety and health programs.
- Identify workplace risks through observation and assessments; recommend solutions to reduce or eliminate hazards.
- Conduct safety reviews for Management of Change (MOC) projects.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards, as well as internal company policies.
- Lead or assist in accident investigations and follow through on corrective actions.
- Prepare teams for corporate safety audits and assessments.
- Collaborate with employees at all levels to build a culture of safety.
