Overview:
As a Manager in Training, you will learn how to be responsible for the overall sales growth and profitability of each location within the region.
You will learn how to oversee a team of direct reports in a retail environment where rapid decision-making abilities are required.
The Manager in Training will be trained by the Regional Sales Manager Managers in locations in their region with the goal of becoming a Sales Manager at one of locations.
This individual must be open to relocation and have a drive for learning the business and leading teams.

Responsibilities:
Duties and Responsibilities
Interviewing prospective employees and understanding the hiring process from start to finish
Leading and coaching team members to achieve sales/performance goals
Investigating cash shortages or inventory variations for the store
Managing and monitoring scheduling and hiring needs within the facility to ensure proper staffing levels are maintained
Coaching team and providing guidance regarding effective approaches to problem solving operational needs and addressing employee concerns
Maintain cleanliness in the store and on the dealership
Assisting in setting sales goal for upcoming fiscal year
Leading by example and coaching team members on providing world class guest service 100% of the time
Ensuring department meets and exceeds all corporate office deadlines
Ensuring all new team member trainees have hands-on training to learn how every aspect of their job
Qualifications:
Requirements include:
Experience in supervising a team
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
Flexibility in this training program is a necessary ingredient for success
Must be willing to relocate
Ability to work a flexible schedule
Experience in Managing a team of people is preferred
Retail experience is preferred
Physical presence at assigned work site required
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED Required
Bachelors Degree Preferred
