Product Manager (InsureTech)- Remote

Brief DescriptionThe Product Manager will drive the vision, roadmap, and execution of one or more core products, including the development of new products that provide unsurpassed value to our insurance customers.

The successful candidate will be an experienced product management leader with a proven track record of successfully operating in a highly agile and high growth environment.

This person will create and nurture a strong product culture that values collaboration, voice of the customer, quality releases, superior design, data-driven decision making, continuous learning, and innovation.

The successful candidate will be a strong voice in continuously improving department and interdepartmental processes that are important to roadmap execution, customer input, release management, and team operations.

He or she will influence pricing, packaging, and positioning within the product portfolio and will work across Product, Technology, Marketing, Sales, Business Development and Finance.Required SkillsStrong product management domain knowledge, including a grasp of core web and mobile technologies and ability for informed participation in technology, user and business-oriented discussionsFinancial/business acumen and analytical competence with ability to develop and present business caseAble to be a leader to all parties involved in the product life cycle product, UX, technology, marketing, finance, salesAble to manage multiple projects and prioritiesCritical thinking skills to quickly make and measure decisions and define goals across products during planning and executionExcellent communication skills and experience working effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional teams, including strong presentation and facilitation skillsComfortable with short/real-time planning, and ability to maintain a consistent focus on short-term tactics and long-term goalsRequired ExperienceA minimum of 3 years product management or product marketing experience in softwareA minimum of 3 years of experience in the insurance industry or with insurance agency management system/CRM space is required.Bachelors degree, MBA preferredDemonstrated track record of success in product management through both revenue growth and relationship buildingExperience with Agile methodologiesPassion for continuous learningKey ResponsibilitiesDrive the vision, roadmap, and success of one or more core products, including the development of new products and product upgrades and consolidation of existing that provide unsurpassed value to our insurance customersDefine and gain support for overall strategy, prioritized roadmap and related KPIsDrive a rich discovery processes including evaluating market opportunities and user/customer research and prototyping to evaluate and define products and features that are valuable, usable and feasibleBring thought leadership and innovative thinking to the product management spaceProvide support to Marketing for marketing materials; functional content, assistance in key functional selling message and sales materials such as quick start guidesCoordinate competitive intelligence gathering, through reviews with senior management, department heads and customers, to assist in product decisionsEnsure solution is well understood and positively portrayed by the user community versus our competitors
