Senior RPA Software Engineer

Logistics:

  • Remote (prefers local to Nashville)
  • 12 month contract

Responsibilities/ Day to Day:

• Work as Senior Developer on a team of 5 developers

• Collaborate with development team members to ensure proper implementation and integration of the automations

• Work with Business Analysts, Business partners, and other cross-functional resources to define and deliver business impacting automations

• Design, develop and test End to End automation solutions for internal clients using Automation Anywhere

• Work on Process Definition Documents (PDD) and Solution Design Documents (SDD)

• Hands-on experience with visualization tools, such as Office365 product suite

• Create and document test procedures and scenarios for the pre-UAT phases

• Support operational teams during the UAT and launch of BOTs

• Assure the quality of the automation (QA processes)

• Create process model for windows-based application using Automation Anywhere and testing it in the inbuilt control room

• Work on Integrating applications like (WebServices, MS Office, GUI, Outlook etc.) using workflow, automation tools

• Test the code in Dev, UAT and Production environments and solve issues on time

• Give regular demos to Client for developed bots

• Troubleshoot production issues for existing automations and participate in an on-call rotation as-needed

• Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies and business processes

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of software development experience

• At least 2 years of RPA development experience leveraging Automation Anywhere

• Experience with Agile development methodology

• 2+ years of experience with databases (SQL) scripting

• Strong attention to detail

• Superior time and project management skills

• Ability to present technical details to non-technical audiences

• Able to design technical specification documents for RPA Projects

• Excellent problem solving/analytical skills and complex troubleshooting methods

• Ability to work through ambiguous situations, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, prioritize the most critical tasks & projects

• Self-starter, able to take initiative without always being directed,

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Team player, dependable, dedicated, confident

• Automation Anywhere Developer Certification preferred

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science preferred
