What you will be doing:
The Operations Analyst is responsible for real-time and ongoing support of employees related to business processes, technical issues, cross-departmental collaboration, and troubleshooting. This analyst will be responsible for ensuring that employees are paid accurately and in a timely manner. Key tasks will include detecting and measuring deviations and trends in employee earnings, collaborating with others as new tests iterate on expert pay, and identifying opportunities to improve processes, including automation. This team member is very detailed, able to detect errors/variances in large data sets and can clearly communicate pay changes to others. As we continue to grow, this person will be able to take on responsibilities for other operational support areas.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Ensure Asurion’s growing team of Experienced professionals are paid accurately and in a timely fashion
· Publish, maintain, and update critical run books and process documentation
· Collaborate to compute, review for accuracy and completeness, and process payments
· Publish summary level trends, highlight anomalies, and maintain data available for analysis
· Support changes/tests impacting expert pay methods or frequency; update processes as needed
· Research and respond to pay-related inquiries from employees or stakeholders
· Identify and define opportunities to improve processes, including automation
· An effective candidate will be excited about communicating new ideas to others, getting into the weeds of employee pay, and interacting with users

Here’s what you’ll bring to the team:
· Excellent collaboration, communication, and cross-functional partnership skills
· Excellent data analysis & financial skills including the ability to derive meaningful insights, and convey those insights to others
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience
· Skill in diagnosing and defining complex problems, testing hypotheses, and providing detailed analysis and meaningful reporting
· Experience with programming languages such as SQL, Python, etc is a plus
· Exceptional computer skills including common business applications such as MS Windows and MS Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The budgeted starting salary range for this role, is $57,300 + potential for bonuses.
