Customer Service Representative

BGSF is seeking a contract Customer Service Representative to assist in their Section 8 Rental Assistance division within our state funded financial services client located in the downtown area of Nashville, TN! The ideal candidates will bring 2+ years corporate customer service experience with moderate to high call volume and excellent communication skills, in addition to exceptional trainability, dependability and a professional and positive demeanor.

  • Potential for 100% remote after 3 – 4 weeks of 100% onsite training
  • 6-month contract assignment with potential for extension/hire
  • Monday thru Friday, 800am – 430pm, 1-hour lunch, 37.5 hours/week
  • Up to $18.00/hr, DOE

REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • 2+ years customer service experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Create and mail annual letters for field offices
  • Answering incoming calls regarding customer applications that are in process
  • Creating and mailing interim packets and annual letters for field offices
  • Closing applications for unresponsive applicants
  • Creating and sending out voucher issuance packets
  • Calculating a Request for Tenancy Approval (RTA)
  • Generating inspections
  • Requesting leasing documents
  • Submitting ECM
  • Process mail and scan to Rental Assistance Specialist
