About this Role

Belle has a rapidly growing field force of 120+ technicians who require immersive onboarding, ongoing education and quality control. Belle is looking for a Director of Learning & Development to lead the design, development, execution and scaling of our Belle Technician learning program. This program develops initial Belle Technician proficiency, cultivates mastery over time and ultimately results in powerful member outcomes.

The perfect candidate has a background in instructional design with experience delivering a learning system across a large, distributed workforce. This person will report directly to the COO and work out of the Nashville, TN office.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the ongoing design and development of a scalable learning program, which instills skills and behaviors that directly create value for Belle and clients

  • Manage operations of the program, including program administration, budgets, capacity planning and KPI tracking

  • Manage delivery of the program, including leadership of all training staff

  • Assess and determine necessary learning infrastructure, such as learning management software (LMS), study guides, knowledge assessments, and more

  • Design an ongoing quality assurance program

  • Build, track and manage continuing education modules to cultivate technician mastery

  • Create a closed-loop feedback system with recruiting and operations teams to refine and enhance the learning program

Experience, Skills, & Personality

  • Experience and education in Instructional Design

  • Learning & development experience with a distributed and/or service-level workforce

  • Demonstrated success managing a team of trainers, budgets and operational responsibility

  • Expert knowledge of Learning Management Systems, content builders, and other learning tools

  • Strong technical proficiency with computers, google suite, digital platforms

  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills

  • Excited and comfortable joining a high growth, fast-changing team
