Job Description Our network is looking for a full time account manager/csr with at least 2 years experience in personal insurance. Account manager/csr will handle all day to day activities of clients.Partner XE agency management system experience is a plus.Salary based on experience, excellent benefits available.DESCRIPTION : Account Manager is responsible for the day-to-day handling of account(s) to maintain client relationships with strong emphasis on service and account retention, attention to details and can handle multiple tasks is vital.QUALIFICATIONSSkills and Experience:High school equivalency; college degree and related business work experience a plus2 years of personal lines account manager insurance work experienceWorking knowledge of personal insurance industry and current applicable license preferredStrong client relationships with ability to problem solve and document follow upRequired licenses or ability to obtain licenses as required by State Department of Insurance; ability to participate in seminars and other training to maintain required licenses to stay abreast of developments in the insurance industryComputer proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)Self-starter, ability to work well independently yet function as part of a teamStrong communication and interpersonal skills; excellent customer service and organizational skillPhysical and Environmental Demands:Job located in a professional office environment – routinely uses standard office equipment (computers, phones, photocopiers, manuals, filing cabinets and fax machines, etc.)Standing, sitting, bending, stooping, reaching; occasional lifting/carrying (15 pounds or less)Moderate stress levelProlonged activities: sitting, use of the telephone, speaking, work on a PC/computerAbility to travel periodically to attend conferences, seminars to maintain licenses through continuing education.Note – the information contained in this job description has been prepared to indicate the general nature of work performed by an employee within this classification.
