Senior Supply Chain Analyst, Allocation – Remote

The Senior Supply Chain Business Analyst – Allocation position will be highly analytical and will be responsible for supporting projects that focus on optimizing sales through effective inventory management techniques. There will be a heavy focus on continuous improvement projects pertaining to improving Inventory KPI’s and other facets of the supply chain to meet business/HFT financial objectives. You will develop and run analyses, create tools and ad-hoc reports to support business needs and opportunities; conduct research and provide strategy suggestions to Supply Chain/Inventory Management. You will work closely and collaborate, not only with the allocation teams, but with all other departments that affect inventory flow across the organization.

The position will not have direct reports but will indirectly guide peers on different facets of the business and will serve as a pivotal position on developing key strategic projects and presenting ideas to upper management, for implementation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Quantitative analysis using forecast trends, patterns and Business intelligence solutions for optimal store inventory needs
  • Understand, adapt and improve existing Inventory strategies to drive process improvement within Inventory department
  • Create Inventory strategies by store/item to support planning and allocation processes
  • Develop and implement new functionalities/solutions that offer efficiency and optimization to store Inventory and replenishment flow
  • Perform quantitative analysis to assist in the decisions to meet objectives, store needs, Inventory KPI’s
  • Create and help maintain robust reporting that helps guide/drive key business decisions
  • Execute Inventory strategies on a timely basis to support in bound flow, outbound flow, within determined target levels
  • Guide peers on tools, projects and presentations to internal team and senior management
  • Correspond and collaborate with multiple business partners within the Inventory department, Distribution centers, field partners and other corporate partners
  • Passionate towards undertaking Projects and completing them through end to end life cycle
  • Heavy Data analytics expected; comfortable with working on large data sets
  • Guided by data driven decisions
  • Able to multi task and handle multiple projects
  • Solution finder, anticipating potential issues and reacting/adapting quickly for resolution
  • Customer Focus always; keeps any decision and action with Customer focus first
  • Self-starter , Dynamic Go to person for small/big ad HOC projects
  • Serve as a mentor to peers and strong vision for joining the dots
  • Additional Duties as assigned by management
  • Regular Attendance is required

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelors’ Degree required, preferably in a Business or related field
  • 4+ years of Inventory, Purchasing or retail management experience preferably in a data-driven role
  • Experience in process improvement, project management, and Business intelligence needs

The anticipated salary range for this position is $74,200 – $111,200 depending on location, knowledge, skills, education and experience. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits to Associates (and their families) such as medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability. Eligible Associates are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan. Associates will accrue paid time off up to 136 hours per year, including 16 hours of Floating Holidays and paid sick time up to 80 hours per year unless otherwise required by law. The Company observes 12.5 paid holidays.
